I'm using KDE neon LTS 5.8 (see screenshot) and one of the latest updates have caused some graphics glitches on the system, more exactly, two of them (or the two I have caught so far), I will try to explain :
1. The first one is kinda hard to explain. Basically, I have a "square" around the mouse cursor which always displays the last ... frame? I think "frame" is not the right word for describing it but it is the best one on my mind right now. Anyway, I have attached a screenshot, so you can see it by yourself.
2. All animations made with QMl (qt), like the KDE loading, is TOO fast, the animations ran like a racer.
Some important notes:1.
I'm using a Samsung Expert X51 laptop, which has a Nvidia 940m card.
2. These bugs only occur with Nvidia graphic card, if I switch to the integrated Intel card it's work like ever.
3. These bugs seems not to be with Nvidia driver, once I have tried to downgrade the driver and the bugs still occur. Besides that, the driver is working like ever, all games are working fine and Gnome seems fine too.
As a workaround, I'm using the Intel card now, but it is much limited, not attend my necessities at all. Could someone help me?
I did not find the right solution from the internet.
